A Pilates programme promotes an increase in flexibility, muscle endurance, strength, balance and proprioception – so not only is the body challenged but awareness is developed too. Exercises are tailored to the individual and the method works using the fundamental principles to accommodate all body types.
Pilates can re-educate the way we exercise. It helps correct years of habitual movement, postural imbalance and combats the stresses and strains of our busy everyday lives. The method encourages the individual to move safely and efficiently with ease and strength.
Body in Mind Pilates ™ lead sessions in both matwork and equipment based Pilates exercise. All tutors are highly trained and BIM works in partnership with The Thoughtful Body Teacher training programme and Pilates Foundation UK to ensure the most up to date industry standards.
